A resident of NJ for over 30 years, earned BA in Ancient Indian history and Culture from the University of Bombay,India. Born and brought up in Mumbai-India, the practice of yoga was instilled at the age of 9 by parents. An an experienced E- RYT with the Yoga Alliance, I have over 1800 hours of teaching experience, have been practicing and teaching Yoga for over 25 years. My love for practicing and teaching Yoga grew stronger with time. My style of teaching is authentic, traditional (From India) and in the true sense YOGA for mind, body and intellect. She has been a free lance - Cultural /Educational tour Guide in India for over 6 years before moving to the US and enjoyed every minute of it. My passion is to Teach Our children how to excel in their academic and athletic careers by increasing focus and concentration,The right way to breathe so they can lead a happy, healthy and fulfilling life. Self awareness and self Observance techniques. Teach Our seniors how to live longer, healthier and happier lives Bring-Gentle and beginner Style of yoga into every home Teach our Yoga Teachers to be better Yoga teachers To spread Sanskrit, Shlokas, chants, meanings and translations to as many of us as possible. I also love to cook and teach Vegetarian healthy Indian diet passed on to me by my mother.

Gentle Beginner Yoga: Group Classes

  • Monday Evenings         7.15 pm – 8.15 pm     Yoga and relaxation (8 class winter sessions start Jan 8th, 2018)
  • Wednesday Mornings    10.30 am – 11.30 am  Yoga sessions
  • Friday Mornings            10.30 am -11.30 am   Yoga 

All our classes are gentle and beginner and very therapeutic in nature. Learn to heal in mind and body to release stress with authentic traditional and therapeutic yoga techniques customized to your specific needs. For young adults, adults and seniors.
