To Bring humility, humbleness, gratitude and ask for blessings.
Standing still prayer pose:
- Standing still prayer pose- Sthita prarthanasana (calming the mind and body to bring into the present)
- Stand straight
- Feet together
- Back straight
- Palms in prayer pose
- Drop your shoulders and relax them
- Close your eyes
- Focus on your breath, watch your breath for 10 breaths.(don’t help, just watch)
At the end of ten breaths, keep eyes closed and rotate your head in a circular motion 2 rounds, clockwise and counterclockwise while following the breathing pattern as Inhale,right shoulder, exhale back and up, inhale left shoulder, exhale, chin to chest. and follow the same for 2 in reverse direction.
Benefits: Help us to conditioning the mind and body to relax, bring it into the present, corrects the posture and balance. It brings humility and humbleness to the mind and body and acceptance of positivity around us.
Limitation: Extreme back pain or medical issues relating to balance.
