Each and every one of us are more than familiar with the very popular and common seasonal colds,cough and flu achy feeling with the on set of the cold winter also know as the flu season. Try all you want but if it catches you, it will not leave you for at least three to five days. Even if you take flu shots, and some of us have experienced that we still get the flu.

Haha… Yes that’s me. In any case we try our best to lessen or minimize the intensity of this body ache and cold and cough and stuffy/runny nose feeling as best we can. So Yes, I was recently hit with this flu and tried all the various versions of dayquil/nyquil and robitussin and benadryl from the pharmacy isles.

I also tried these simple tried and tested home remedies that my mom has given me and used for our family over the years. My thought was, you know, what ever works. I just need to feel better. They did help me decrease the intensity of the flu so I figured I would share
